building subscription edition design with web edition (quartus 10.0)

Hi,

I have a design which was originally built using the quartus II (10.0) subscription edition.

I am trying to get it to build using the web edition of the same version. As far as I understand, the web edition does not allow incremental builds.

But it should atleast allow a pre-built design to build again.

I am unable to get the design to build. The tool recognises its IPs but fails to find my company's proprietary IP instance.

When I launch the .qpf file through quartus, I see the IP block in the design.

I dont know where exactly to look in the flow to see where the IP instantiation could be missing. I dont think, the instance should be missing from top level verilog.

I suspect it should be something in the SOPC builder flow that I am missing.

Please advise me on whether I should try to build the design on the web edition at all.

The web edition only supports the smaller devices. I'd it's not like of those, you need to use the subscription edition.

Afaik, there is no ability for the web edition to recompile something already compiled in the subscription edition
