How to get Quartus (19.1) and the simulator running

The document doesn't say it, unfortunately, but the project file (.qsf) indicates that this design uses a Cyclone V device. Make sure you have Cyclone V devices installed before opening the project.

    Hi,

    I am currently trying to re-compile a project previously compiled for a cyclone V but for a cyclone 10 and I get the same error. I'm quite new on this topic and maybe just changing device in the device setting is not sufficient to re-compile it.

    I understand it has to do with primitives related to specific family but I can't find information on how to adapt it to work properly on a different family.

    If somebody could enlighten me I would appreciate.
