Look at the Microchip/Atmel ATF1504ASV-A100; it is a production part that is a functional replacement.
Using the Microchip POF2JED program you can convert your Altera .pof design file to an Atmel .jed file for programming.
Speed grades are different tho, so absolute compatibility depends on your performance requirements.
