Combustible mass of FPGAs

For the below mentioned FPGAs, we would like to know 3 things,
1. Total mass of FPGA in grams
2. Combustible mass of FPGA in grams
3. Whether the products are UL94 V0 certified or not

    Both of these parts have less than 4 grams of flammable material.

    Altera components comply with fire construction requirements for the end product standard (i.e. IEC 60950-1 & IEC 62368-1). Flammability standards with flame ratings (e.g. UL94/IEC 60695-11-10) apply to raw plastic materials.


    Under 62368-1, components mounted on V-1 or better circuit board material is considered not significant fuel to propagate flame if the total amount of combustible material is <4g or part is < 1750mm3.


    UL 94 V-0 is not in scope for this type of part. Under the current Safety standard, 60950-1, an IC mounted to V1 or better material is excluded from flammability requirements. Under the new Safety requirement 62368-1 that affect late 2019, flammability applicability uses combustible material weight (> 4 g) of the finished component.
