BoardTestSystem can't find system-console (Arria 10 SOC Dev Kit FPGA)

Hello

I have an Intel Altera Arria 10 SOC Dev Kit.

I downloaded the arria10_10as066n3f40_soc_v15.1.2 package that contains the BoardTestSystem.

I have also installed the latest Quartys 21.4 PRO for windows and activated it

when I start BoardTestSystem.exe it fails with:

Cannot run program "C:\intelFPGA_pro\21.4\quartus/sopc_builder/bin/system-console": CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified

The path is correct, but there is no file "system-console". I see the BTS was built with Quartus 15. However the manual says any version>=15 is ok. What is correct?

Do I need to download Quartus 15? Online only has Quartus 17-21. Would 17 work? If not, where can I find 15?

Please help. Is this the best place to ask for help? I could not open a ticket or find a phone number.

    I am also dealing with this issue with the Agilex AGF014

      For the record, installing Quartus 17 worked for me.

      Another option that looks like could have worked too is: copying the contents of the folder in C:\intelFPGA_pro\21.4\syscon\bin\

      to C:\intelFPGA_pro\21.4\quartus/sopc_builder/bin/

      This is the path BTS is looking in for system-console
