Why pause frame without FCS (CRC) field is transmitted by the 10G Ethernet MAC?

Description

When CRC insertion feature is disabled and pause-frame generation feature is used on the 10G Ethernet MAC, the 10G Ethernet MAC will not insert the FCS (CRC) field to the generated pause frame.

This will be fixed in the Quartus II software version 12.0.

Note:

Solution for this will be regardless of the configuration. 10G Ethernet MAC will insert the FCS field for the pause frame. After the fix, if users choose not to insert FCS field, 10G Ethernet MAC will not insert the FCS field for normal frame but the generated pause frame will contain the FCS field that is set by users.
