Why is the runtime of TimeQuest timing analyzer much longer in the Quartus II software version 11.1 SP1?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 11.1 SP1, the runtime for the TimeQuest timing analyzer may be much longer compared to earlier versions of the Quartus II software. This problem is caused by incorrect handling of clock tree nodes that drive feedback registers.

A patch is available to fix this problem for the Quartus II software version 11.1 SP1. Download and install Patch 1.06 from the appropriate link below:
