Why does Timing Analyzer fail to find my entity bound SDC files?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software, you may see that the Timing Analyser fails to find the entity bound SDC (Synopsys Design Constraint) files even though they are found during the timing analysis run in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software GUI. This problem occurs when the project path contains a symbolic link.

Resolution

To work around this problem, make sure that the project path does not include a symbolic link.

This problem is fixed beginning with version 18.1 of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro edition software.
