Why does the Timing Analyzer hang in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software versions 21.3 and earlier?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.3 and earlier, the Timing Analyzer may hang if any SDC files contain the load_report command.

Resolution

To work around this problem, add the unload_report command at the end of every SDC file which contains the load_report command.

This problem is scheduled to be resolved in a future release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
