Why does the Scalar Product Function in ALTERA_FP_FUNCTION IP Core not Map to Arria 10 Hard Floating-point Blocks
Resolution
To work around this problem, replace this file: <Quartus II installation directory>/ip/altera/dsp/altera_fp_functions/source/altera_fp_hw.tcl
with this file, altera_fp_hw.tcl
This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II software
