Why does the installation of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software hang during silent installation with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software version 20.1.1 and earlier, the installation progress will hang and fail to install during silent installation with SSCM.

Resolution

To work around this problem, in the Program tab of the Deployment Type, tick the 'Run installation and uninstallation as 32bit on 64-bit clients' checkbox. 

This problem is fixed beginning with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software version 21.1.
