Why does the Import Assignments option only support Quartus® Settings File (.qsf) file type?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.4 and earlier, you might see the only supported file type for the Import Assignments feature is .qsf although the description in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition User Guide: Design Compilation shows it supports .qsf, .csv, .txt, .sdc.

Resolution

This problem has been fixed in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.1
