Why does programming .sof failed and the sof binary is different when using different PC?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.4, programming_sequence is missing in the SOF file. Hence the .sof programming failed when the project design and Quartus software installation were located in different drives.

Resolution

To work around this problem, move the project design to the drive where the quartus is installed.

This problem is fixed in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.2.
