Why does Platform Designer testbench generation fail with Blackbox IRQ?

Description

Due to a problem with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.2 and earlier, you might see the process fail when you generate a testbench system from the Platform Designer Tool. This problem occurs when the Platform Designer system includes a black box component with an exported IRQ interface.

Resolution

To work around this problem, add an interrupt bridge to the IRQ interface. 

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
