Why do my IP core scripts fail to work?

Description

In the Quartus® II software version 14.0,  you see one type of wizard when you are edit or upgrade an old IP core instance and you see a different wizard when you create a new IP core instance. In addition, the output files and directory structure depends on which wizard generates the IP core, which may affect any output scripts you define. This problem affects the following IP cores

• Altera Fault Injection
• FIR Compiler II
• RapidIO
• Reed Solomon II

Resolution

To work around this problem, update any scripts you have that work on IP cores in v13.1 designs.
