Why do I see long delays offloading data in the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 11.1 SP2 and earlier, you may observe long delays when offloading data in the SignalTap™ II Logic Analyzer. You may see longer offloading delays on Linux systems compared to Windows systems.

Resolution

A patch is available to fix this problem in the Quartus II software version 11.1 SP1. Download and install patch 1.23 from the appropriate link below:

• Download the version 11.1 SP1 patch 1.23 for Windows (.exe)
• Download the version 11.1 SP1 patch 1.23 for Linux (.tar)
• Download the Readme for the Quartus II software version 11.1 SP1 patch 1.23 (.txt)

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus II software version 12.0.
