Why do I see Active Serial configuration fail with Intel® Stratix® 10 devices?

Description

You may encounter Active Serial (AS) configuration failure when the Intel® Stratix® 10 device is powered up before the EPCQ-L serial configuration flash device is fully powered up. This issue impacts all Intel Stratix 10 devices. 

Resolution

The EPCQ-L serial configuration flash device must be fully powered up at the same time or before ramping up VCCIO_SDM of Intel Stratix 10 devices.
