Why do I get Fatal Error when running In-System Memory Content Editor?

Description

Due to problem in the Quartus Prime Standard edition software version 16.1, you may see a fatal error if performing two or more consecutive write data from or read data to any in-system memory block.

Resolution

To work around this problem, you should run ISMCE program in the previous version of the Quartus Prime Standard edition software.

The problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus Prime software.
