Why do I get error during ASMI Parallel IP simulation?

Description

Due to problems in Quartus® Prime software the ASMI Parallel simulation model does not include the flash model.

Resolution

To work around this problem, user needs to connect their flash model with the IP via "asmi_sim_model" module, where user need to create the design file themselves. You can refer below document for sample code of "asmi_sim_model":

This is fixed in Quartus® Prime Pro 17.0.
