Why do files open slowly in the Quartus II 11.1 text editor?

Description

Due to a problem caused by the Error marking feature within the Text Editor in the Quartus® II software version 11.1, design files may open slowly after a design has been compiled.

Resolution

There is no workaround for this problem.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
