Why can't I save my settings in the Nios II Flash programmer?

Description

An issue has been found in the Nios® II Flash programmer in versions 11.x that prevents users being able to save project settings unless the target filename already exists.

To work around this issue, create a blank file with the same name as the project to be saved. The next attempt to save the project should then be successful.

This issue will be fixed in a future release of the Nios II Software Build Tools for Eclipse.
