Why can I not export interfaces with the Clipper VIP Suite block in Qsys?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software, when you rename your Clipper VIP Suite block in Qsys, you may not be able to export any interface by double-clicking in the Export column.  Alternatively, if you export your interface(s) and then rename your Clipper VIP Suite block, the interface(s) will be changed to non-exported interface(s).

Resolution

The workaround for this is to use the default name Qsys assigns to the Clipper VIP Suite block.
