Why are MT25QL128, MT25QL01G and MT25QL02G flash devices missing from the Remote Update FPGA IP configuration device list in the Quartus® Prime Software version 18.1?

Description

Due to a known problem in Quartus® Prime Standard Software version 18.1, Micron* flash devices MT25QL128, MT25QL01G and MT25QL02G are not listed in the Remote Update FPGA IP configuration device list.

Resolution

To work around this problem, select a Macronix* flash part with the same density in the configuration device list of the Remote Update FPGA IP but do not check the “Enable reconfig POF checking” option.
