Warning: System.st_splitter_0.in: st_splitter_0.in must declare an associated reset

Description

You may see the following warning when instantiating a Qsys 11.1 design that contains the Avalon®-ST Splitter core:

Warning: System.st_splitter_0.in: st_splitter_0.in must declare an associated reset

This warning occurs because the Avalon-ST Splitter core does not have an associated reset port.

Resolution

It is safe to ignore this warning, which shall be fixed in version 12.0 of the Quartus® II tool.
