Unable to Successfully Trigger XON in Low Latency Ethernet 10G MAC

Description

The Low Latency Ethernet 10G MAC MegaCore function cannot handle back-to-back triggering of XOFF/XON.

This issue affects all versions that support Low Latency Ethernet 10G MAC.

Resolution

After you assert the avalon_st_pause_data[1] signal to 1 (trigger XOFF), wait for at least three clock cycles before asserting the avalon_st_pause_data[0] to 1 (trigger XON).

This issue will be fixed in a future version of the Low Latency Ethernet 10G MAC.
