System Error: MSVCR120.dll was not found

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.2 and earlier, you might see this system error when launching the Questa*-Intel® FPGA Edition. This error is caused by the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 not being installed when installing the Questa*-Intel® FPGA Edition Software.

This problem only affects the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software when installed on Windows* OS.

Resolution

To work around this problem, download and install the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013.
