RapidIO IP Core Sends restart-from-retry Control Symbol in Response to Unexpected packet-retry Control Symbol

Description

When a RapidIO IP core receives an unexpected packet-retry control symbol from its RapidIO link partner, the IP core erroneously sends a restart-from-retry control symbol. This issue occurs because the IP core enters the Input Retry state instead of the Output Error state, and therefore does not behave according to the RapidIO specification.

Resolution

This issue has no workaround.

This issue will be fixed in a future version of the RapidIO IP core.
