Qsys Error: no modules found when analyzing null

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software for Windows, you may see this error when creating a new Platform Designer component. The error occurs when clicking the Analyze HDL Files button. 

Resolution

This problem has been fixed beginning with the Intel Quartus Prime Pro Edition software version 17.1
