Possible underflow error on TX path when Avalon® streaming adaptor is enabled for low latency Ethernet 10G MAC

Description

If you enable the Avalon® streaming adapters for the Low Latency Ethernet 10G MAC IP core, you might observe an underflow error on the TX path.

This issue affects versions 13.1 and 14.0 of the Low Latency Ethernet 10G MAC.

Resolution

A patch is available to fix this issue for the Quartus® II software versions 13.1 and 14.0. Download and install the patch from the following links:

• Patch for Quartus II version 13.1
• Patch for Quartus II version 14.0

This issue will be fixed in a future version of the Low Latency Ethernet 10G MAC.
