Is there a known issue with the size of a file generated using the sof2flash utility in Quartus II software versions 12.1, 12.1 SP1, and 12.0?

Description
Yes, there is a known issue with the size of a file generated using the sof2flash utility in the Quartus® II software versions 12.1, 12.1 SP1, and 12.0.  In these versions of the Quartus II software, the generated file is 1 byte shorter than expected which may lead to configuration failure.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the Quartus II software version 13.0.
