Is the compression size of a programming file deterministic in the Quartus® Prime Software?

Description

The compressed size and content of the programming file is deterministic as long as the same version of the Quartus® Prime Software, the same SRAM Object File (.sof) is used and the authentication feature is disabled.

Resolution

If the authentication feature is enabled, then only the compressed size of the programming file is deterministic.
