IP Compiler for PCI Express User Guide Erroneous Description of Flow Control Protocol Error

Description

The IP Compiler for PCI Express v11.0 User Guide description of a flow control protocol error (FCPE) detected by the transaction layer, in Table 12-4, is erroneous. Instead of the two paragraphs in the description of an FCPE in this table, the following description should appear:

This error occurs when a component does not receive update flow control credits within the 200 us limit.

Resolution

In place of the current description of an FCPE detected by the transaction layer, in Table 12-4, substitute the following description:

This error occurs when a component does not receive update flow control credits within the 200 us limit.

This issue will be fixed in a future version of the IP Compiler for PCI Express User Guide.
