Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 12.0 and later, you may see this internal error when dragging the nodes from the Technology Map Viewer to the SignalTap™ II Logic Analyzer.

Resolution

To work around this problem, perform one of the following two options:

• In the Technology Map Viewer, right-click on the desired nodes and select Add Node to SignalTap II Logic Analyzer option and then select a new or existing SignalTap II (.stp) file.
• Add nodes within the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer by double-clicking on any empty space in the node list pane and opening the Node Finder.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
