Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software version 17.0 Update 2 and earlier, you may see this internal error when exporting a design partition.

Resolution

To work around this problem, disable the "Flatten child partitions" option in the "Export Design Partition" dialog box.

Alternatively, if you are using command line mode then add the "-dont_flatten" argument to the export_partition command.
