Description

You may encounter the above internal error in Quartus II Software versions 12.1 and earlier if you implement the following Arria V GX design transceiver designs

• Bonded TX only channel driven by CMU PLL through xN clocking

or

• Bonded channel (TX only or duplex) driven by fPLL through xN clocking

This is a known bug in the Quartus II Software

Resolution

To fix this problem, install Quartus II software version 12.1 and software patch 0.dp3.
