Internal Error: Sub-system: FIOMGR, File:/quartus/fitter/fiomgr/fiomgr_io_power_region.cpp, Line: 2356 No voltage can be selected.

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 13.1, you may see this internal error when assigning an input (IO standard below 2.5V) and a differential termination-enabled LVDS inputs in a same bank.

Resolution

To work around this problem, set the VCCIO default voltage for bank to the same as input IO voltage.

You can make the changes in the steps below.

1) Open the Pin Planner
2) Click View > Show > Show I/O Banks
3) Find the I/O Bank properties
4) Change the value of the I/O bank VCCIO

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus II software version 14.0
