Incorrect simulations in ModelSim AE and SE versions 10.1d, 10.1e, and 10.2c

Description

Mentor Graphics® ModelSim® Altera Edition (AE) version 10.1e does not correctly simulate always_comb and always_latch blocks when only some bits of the 2-D wires are read in the blocks.

Resolution

Use always block instead of always_comb or always_latch when only reading some bits of 2-D wires.

This issue is fixed in ModelSim and Questa®Sim versions 10.3a and later.
