How do I compile all available device simulation libraries when executing the command quartus_sh --simlib_comp in the Quartus II Web Edition software?

Description

The command-line version of the Quartus® II EDA Simulation Library Compiler, quartus_sh --simlib_comp, provided with the Quartus II Web Edition software does not support the option -family all to compile EDA simulation libraries for all supported device families. You can use the option -family all only with the Quartus II Subscription edition.

Resolution

To work around this issue, use one of the following steps:

• Use the EDA Simulation Library Compiler GUI to manually select the device families you wish to use and that are supported by the Quartus II Web Edition software.
• Run the EDA Simulation Library Compiler from the command line for each device family you wish to target, using the -family argument to specify the device family.
• Upgrade to the Quartus II Subscription Edition software.

This issue is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II Software.
