How do I access the EPCQ configuration device on the Cyclone® V GT FPGA Development Kit?

Description

The MAX® V device design provided with the Cyclone® V GT FPGA development kit does not allow you to access the EPCQ configuration device that is fitted to the kit.

Resolution

To enable configuration using the EPCQ device, reprogram the MAX V device with this .pof  file: MAX V device EPCQ pof file and set the MSEL pins to enable Active Serial mode configuration.

You can also use this VHDL file: MAX V device EPCQ source code to update the MAX V device design provided with the kit.
