Error: Remote update block is operating in remote update mode -- configuration scheme is not Active Serial programming mode

Description

This error may occur in the Quartus® II software version 10.0 SP1 due to a bug where the Remote Update core is not set correctly.

Resolution

To correct this in issue in the Quartus II software verson 10.0 SP1 there is patch 1.113 available.

• Quartus II software version 10.0 SP1 patch 1.113 for PC (.exe file)
• Quartus II software version 10.0 SP1 patch 1.113 for Linux (.tar file)
• Quartus II software version 10.0 SP1 patch 1.113 for readme.txt file

This issue is fixed in the Quartus II software version 10.1SP1.
