Error: invalid command name "::alt_xcvr::ip_tcl::ip_module::ip_log_invalid_parameter"

Description

You may encounter the above error with the Arria® V GZ Transceiver Native PHY IP Core if you enable the 10G PCS and set the 10G PCS protocol mode to teng_baser.

Resolution

This is a known bug in Intel® Quartus® II software version 14.1. To work around this, you can download and install the patch below

• Download the version 14.1 patch 0.12 for Windows (.exe)
• Download the version 14.1 patch 0.12 for Linux (.tar)
• Download the Readme for the Quartus II software version 14.1 patch 0.12 (.txt)

This problem will be fixed in a future version of the Quartus® II software.
