Error: [Errno 11004] getaddrinfo failed

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime software version 16.0 Update 2 and earlier, you may see this error message when compiling designs using Design Space Explorer II (DSE II).

Resolution

To work around this problem, perform the following actions.

1. Update the <revision>.dse file in the project directory.

2. Change or add the following:
   host=127.0.0.1

3. Compile the design using DSE II.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime software.
