Error (170084): Can't route signal "~GND" to atom "< dqs_oct_alignment~_Duplicate>"

Description

The above error may appear when you use the Stratix® V ALTDQ_DQS2 Megafunction in the Quartus® II software version 13.1. The error is caused during the fitter stage when “Use output phase alignment blocks” is enabled and “Use dynamic configuration scan chains” is disabled.

Resolution

The "Use output phase alignment blocks" option requires the "Use dynamic configuration scan chains" option to be selected as well. When you enable the two options at the same time, the fitter error should disappear.
