Error (13264): Can't resolve multiple constant drivers for net <*>

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 20.4, you might see this error when compiling during synthesis stage. This occurs when an array of structs is being assigned in a for-loop wrapped by an if/else block then wrapped by a generate block.

Resolution

A patch is available to fix this problem for the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 20.4. Download and install the patch from the following links:

• Intel® Quartus® Prime 20.4 Patch 0.49 for Linux (.exe)

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.3.
