Description

Due to a bug in the Quartus® II software version 13.1.3, you may see the Fitter error above when compiling for Arria® V devices.

Resolution

This is a known bug in Quartus II software version 13.1.3. To work around this, you can do either of the following

• Use Quartus II software version 14.0
• Download and install patch 3.08 for the Quartus II software version 13.1.3 from the appropriate link below.
  • Download the version 13.1 patch 3.08 for Windows (.exe)
  • Download the version 13.1 patch 3.08 for Linux (.run)
  • Download the Readme for the Quartus II software version 13.1 patch 3.08 (.txt)
• Use Quartus II software version 13.0
