Does the Parallel Flash Loader (PFL) megafunction support Arria® V or Cyclone® V devices in FPPx16 configuration mode?

Description

When you use PFL mega function in the Quartus® II software to configure Arria® V or Cyclone® V devices in FPPx16 mode, there is a note:

The selected configuration scheme is only supported in the Stratix® V device family.

However, this note is incomplete. Arria® V or Cyclone® V devices are supported in this configuration mode.

Resolution

You can ignore this note for Arria® V or Cyclone® V devices. The note will be updated in a future version of the Quartus® II software.

This problem is fixed in Quartus® 13.1.
