ACDS 15.0 DisplayPort IP core fails to generate a time-limited programming file (.sof)

Description

Quartus® II software v15.0 DisplayPort IP core is missing an OpenCore Plus (OCP) file, preventing the Quartus II software from generating a time-limited programmng file (.sof) for hardware evaluation.  

Resolution

To work around this issue, follow these steps:

1. Download the OCP file, bitec_dp.ocp, from the following link :

    - ACDS 15.0 DisplayPort IP Core OCP file

2. Place it in the \'ip/altera/altera_dp/src/bitec_dp/common\' directory under the Quartus II software installation folder before you run the Quartus II software compilation.


This issue is planned to be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II software.
