Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.4, you may get this fatal error when synthesizing your design.

This error occurs when setting your SEARCH_PATH assignment with a path containing sequences like "../../", which navigates back several folders and then into others.

Resolution

To work around this problem , provide the direct path without navigating back to other directories.

 

This problem was fixed in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.1.
