Description

You may receive an internal error when attempting to program an Active Serial configuration device (EPCS or EPCQ device) using the Serial Flash Loader and a .jic file, using the Quartus® II software version 12.1.  The internal error will contain the following text:

Resolution

Use version 12.0 of the Quartus II Programmer. 

This is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
