Signaltap protocol

Hello,

Do you know if is possible to extend Signaltap with custom protocol analyzers (ex. I2C, SPI, etc..)?

Thank you

Signal Tap just taps signals. It's not designed for that. A better option is using System Console toolkits. What exactly do you want to see?

      Hello,

I would like to create a plugin or something that decode the data on some protocols, for example:

You can create mneumonic tables in Signal Tap, but those are meant to decode "parallel" signals (i.e. the seven separate signals that make up a 7-segment display) as opposed to decoding serialized data like what you show here. Signal Tap can't do that. It only looks at captured data one clock cycle/sample at a time.

Got it. Anyway would be very good to have something more extendible in a future release
